How to Get More From Our Books

Our books give children a lot to think about. Those who re-read and think about them often discover something new. That’s why we prefer to give our books to organizations that:

  • Give children the books to keep.
  • Read them to the children before sending the books home with the children.
  • Include the books in their programs and provide engaging, accessible support materials for use at home.

Many organizations send home our Tips for Reading and a Fun Projects page with each book they donate. They often use these and the other resources in the sidebar in their programs. We invite you to review them to determine their usefulness for your organization.
